Nate Chittick passed away on November 11, 2017. He was 42 years old. He was a devoted father, husband, friend, coach, mentor, and community leader who was passionate about everything he did.
What he’d want everyone to know is how much he loved this community. He faithfully supported our El Segundo Education Foundation. He loved working with council, fire, police and the numerous committees across the board to serve this wonderful city!
He wanted to make El Segundo one of the greatest places to live, not just for his family, but for your family.
Nate led a very full life. After graduating from the University North Carolina, Nate played 5 seasons in the NFL, winning the Super Bowl with the St. Louis Rams. When he retired from football, Nate spent the last 11 years in the financial industry, specializing in strategic financial planning with great success.
He is survived by his Wife, Kelsey Chittick and son Jack and daughter Addison. They remain his greatest joy!
His wish would be that all of us become a little bigger than we are. Wanting each of us to find our purpose and make a positive impact in this city and our broader community.
Going forward, we can honor Nate by keeping these principles in mind….
- Get involved in our community
- Talk Less, Listen More!
- Work on you…become better everyday.
- Be grateful for all that you have everyday.
He’ll be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
